Hi. I’m Veronica. Or Ronnie.

Depending on which coast you inhabit and/or if you’re my mother.

I was born in New Orleans almost three decades ago, resulting in a penchant for spicy food and live music. And water.. lots of water. My junior high and high school years in northern Nevada provided me with a tolerance for country music and snow.

I ran away to New York City as soon as I could. Thankfully NYU’s semi-rigorous academic schedule allowed for a lot of time to explore restaurants, parks, bars, museums, Broadway shows, life. Ten years later, I’m over New York winters and commutes but I have an exciting job working with amazing animals, so I stay.

I enjoy working with marine animals, computers, dogs and children. In my spare time, I enjoy my family, traveling and daydreaming. Hopefully blogging will be added back to that list!
